Plants & Facilities

Saltigo's asset base consists of a comprehensive set of plants located almost exclusively at integrated site in Leverkusen, Germany. This asset base includes:

• A Technical laboratory/ISO kilolab
• A cGMP kilolab and pilot plant
• Technology plants (e. g. phosgenation, hydrogenation, distillation)
• Multipurpose plants

We have, as components within these plants, a variety of state-of-the-art facilities available for carrying out the synthesis of your products:

• In-house developed small-scale parallel reactors for process development
• Mini plants
• Simulated moving bed (SMB) units for resolution of enantiomeric mixtures
• Distillation equipment, e. g. columns, thin-film evaporators, etc.
• Cryogenic equipment
• High-pressure equipment

Our extensive range of equipment materials includes glass, enamel, Hastelloy and other alloy types, and stainless steel.

Saltigo is equipped with a comprehensive set of facilities comprising a total of 3,000 m³ (750,000 gallon) of agitated reactor volume:

• Kilo labs (typically 5-25 liter glass vessels)
• Pilot plants (25-1,600 liter stainless steel, glass lined, and alloy vessels)
• Production plants (2.5-16 m², approx. 600-4,000 gallon vessels).
